Tank repair services

SFI tank inspections and repair services are based in Springfield, Missouri. As part of our service, we can mobilize a supervisor to your facility to inspect a tank that needs repair or requires modifications. After inspection, we provide our recommendations and a quotation for repair or replacement. Similarly, smaller tanks can be sent to our facility for evaluation and repair or modification.

We can fix it. SFI is skilled and qualified to perform inspections and make repairs and modifications to existing tanks and ASME pressure vessels in our shop or on-site at customer facilities. We are ASME certified and hold the NBIC "R" certification.

Silo Top Replacement

A tank repair such as a silo top replacement provides a perfect opportunity to increase tank capacity or make other changes. We can expand the capacity of an existing tank by increasing the sidewall height. The damaged portion of the tank is cut away, additional new sidewall courses are added, and the new top is installed. It’s quick, efficient and less costly than a new tank, in both time and financial outlay.

Tank accessories

SFI builds and installs tank accessories such as ladders, handrails, platforms and catwalks for the tanks we fabricate. We offer various sizes and configurations using aluminum, galvanized, stainless and carbon steel.
