Properties of AL-6XN® Super Austenitic Stainless Steel Alloy
AL-6XN® stainless steel is a super-austenitic stainless steel alloy with high nickel and molybdenum content. Identified by the Unified Numbering System designation of N08367, it contains:
● Chromium: 20% - 22%
● Nickel: 22% - 25.5%
● Molybdenum: 6% - 7%
● Nitrogen: 0.18% - 0.25%
The high nickel and molybdenum content provides enhanced resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking.
